Sunday Funday | Life with M3

The weekend is rapidly coming to a close. Monday is right around the corner which means it’s time to check in with our #SundayFunday post.

Our little family has had an adventure packed weekend. It actually all started on Thursday when we headed over to our communities little hometown fair and carnival, Dunlap Days.

The kids had never experienced a carnival of any sort, so I was especially looking forward to seeing their reactions. We arrived before the carnival officially opened which was awesome because we got first choice in parking.

The rides weren’t even open yet nor were the ticket booths so we patiently awaited the open sign. The verdict from the kids? They LOVED it! Well, except for the little roller coaster. That was not a favorite.

Friday we took a bit easy after our oldest came down with hay fever. Saturday, the boys were off to the races fixing up Papa’s lawn mower. It took a few trips to the parts store but they got it up and running better than ever.

Sunday we did our normal morning routine and then the boys headed back outside. This time to start putting together a play set in the backyard. Our daughter has been asking for a tree house for months and it looks like she’s finally going to get one.

My favorite? Watching our two little ones being best friends. Watching him protect her and guide her through the fun house. Seeing their little hands clasped together on the carousel. Seeing my dad, husband, and son spend time together all weekend.

My heart is full. Family by birth (and by marriage). Best friends by choice.

What fun and exciting things have you been up to this weekend?
